8 oz Nonwoven Filter Fabric
Geotextiles for Soil Erosion and Drainage
The 8 oz nonwoven filter fabric is one of the strongest and most common medium weight nonwoven geotextiles. With a tensile strength of 205 pounds, it can help prevent soil erosion and provide drainage. The 80 sieve rating is great for filtering and this geo filter fabric is often used in French drain systems. Made from needle-punched polypropylene, the non woven geotextile fabric is strong yet flexible.
Nonwoven geotextiles are a great alternative drainage fabric because they are stronger and last longer than traditional biodegradable mats. Along with these factors, synthetic nonwoven geotextiles are also resistant against UV rays, mildew, biological degradation and many chemicals.
