Mirafi® S Series nonwoven is used in critical subsurface drainage systems, permanent erosion control, soil separation, and other geo-membranes in landfill construction. Mirafi® geotextiles provide exceptional durability, along with high puncture resistance, permittivity, and transmissivity. The polypropylene, nonwoven fabric prevents clogging of collection pipes and drainage collections, making it ideal for Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Infrastructure projects.
Similar to the Mirafi® N-Series, the S-Series differs in material weight and thickness. This filter fabric is available in 6 oz. to 16 oz. weights, and delivers excellent strength and abrasion resistance, as well as withstanding installation and application stresses.
