These biodegradable blankets provide temporary erosion control for up to 12 months, giving grass and other seeded plants time to germinate and take root. Standard straw blanket rolls come in 8' x 112.5' sizing and are suitable for slopes up to 3:1.
Straw erosion control blankets are designed with interior fibers that are stabilized with an exterior UV degradable netting. Interiors are made from 100% wheat straw fibers, while exterior netting is made from photodegradable polypropylene. All mats are sold by the roll in single or pallet quantities.
